Experimental session using the modular synth to process live ambient guitar with complex looper/delay and effects, on top of generative drone sounds. Guitar signal chain:
- Line 6 Helix Stomp clean amp, stereo out
- Befaco Sallen Key dual filter, modulated by multiple un-synced Doepfer LFOs and Mutable Tides
- Monsoon (Mutable Instruments Clouds clone) granular pitch shift and reverb, freeze is sequenced randomly from Pioneer Toraiz Squid. Noise from Telharmonic modulating the grain position.
- Strymon Magneto delay in sound-on-sound looper mode, for long degenerating evolving loops that can be played over. Loop in/out from a DIY foot pedal sending a 5v gate
4MS Spectral Multiband Resonator bass rumble:
- gets a simple bass pulse from the WMD Proton
- 4MS Resonator fills out the sound, sort of EQ-like
- Roland Torcido configured as a dual LP filter, getting random modulations from the Turing Machine
Make Noise Telharmonic chord drones:
- Plays a simple triad, sequenced by the Squid, with random probability
- Make Noise MMG Filter, ADSR sequenced by Squid
